Strip Flipper (v1.03)
A downloadable game for Windows
A classic Hamiltonian Path style puzzle game where you flip tiles without retracing your steps. Complete 20 levels and do it fast to get stars and unlock images and an animation of three cute robits!
Completing a level earns 1 star. Completing it in the target time earns 2. Progress is automatically saved.
CONTROLS:
MOVE - Arrows, WASD or IJKL
RESET LEVEL - Z
EXIT - X
MUTE MUSIC - C
CHANGE RESOLUTION - R
Honestly, I just made this game for practice and to offload some H images and animations I had lying around. But I hope you enjoy it anyway lol.
CURRENT VERSION (v1.03):
The game is feature complete as-is. All planned images and animations are in the game, as well as all planned levels.
MINOR UPDATE [11/30/25]:
Nothing to do with the game itself. Added a download link for a tutorial video on how to get 2 stars on every level. It'll still be difficult, but where there's a will, there's a way.

Does anyone really get 30 stars? I can only get 20.The time limit is too short.
There is a tutorial video on how to get all 40 stars. To move as fast as possible, you have to master the input timing, not just the solution. There is a slight delay after ever move with no input buffering to prevent button mashing.
for some reason I can't get any stars even on level completion. idk if it's a me thing or a bug but I can't unlock anything.
That's strange. Let me see if I can find a bug.

Not to sound like I suck at games but genuinely this game's timers are incredibly difficult, and sometimes outright impossible... :/
There was a timer issue so if you got an older version of the game from somewhere else please download the latest version. Other than that, yes, getting all the record times on the later stages is very difficult by design
I am literally cheating with x0.20 speed and still cant get under 1.8s on the first level, is it even possible? it feels like i'm missing some game mechanic

I hadn't realized it earlier, but on higher end machines the timers in the game run too fast. The latest version should fix this issue.
Ok this game is really fun but level 20 make me want to hurt someone.
Game runs great on my arch linux machine using both wine and when run on Steam's proton compatibility layer.

The game auto-creates a save file when you run it
I think it's a bug with godot, but the screen goes completely black if the window is resized.

At the moment, only pride. I made the final rewards less than 40 because I know the last couple levels are a pain to beat in the target time
