Rhythm Rider

A rhythm/reflex game featuring some familiar characters.

CONTROLS:

Left Mouse Button - Click options, activate "reward"

Left & Right Arrow Keys - Move left and right

OBJECTIVE:

Avoid the red blocks to endure the ride. The more you endure, the bigger your reward at the end.

NOTE: Do not delete or modify the text files in the zip folder. It looks like gibberish but those are actually the patterns and timing data for the songs.

CURRENT FEATURES (v1.3):

- 4 "girls" with their own song, block pattern, animation and "finish" portrait

- "Unique" finishes every time

- Songs and block patterns are mod-able (instructions included)

- Gallery mode with audio! Unlock background animations by completing the corresponding stages without taking damage

- Save game

- Game now goes back to menu upon failing a stage or resetting instead of restarting the entire game; quick reset buttons added in bottom left

- Minor improvements to art and presentation

- Now you can scale the window in-game using the "+" and "-" buttons

Small Update [Update 8/9/23]

Improved randomization on stuff like audio and finish scenes so you don't get the same sound bytes/animations multiple times in a row.
